A Photographer’s Dream.

A Photographer’s Dream

From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for something special. The towering red rocks, endless skies, and the unique energy of the desert created the kind of scenery that’s hard to believe until you see it with your own eyes. Every turn felt like a curated shot from a movie set.

As a visual storyteller, I was in heaven, capturing beautiful moments and colors that don’t exist anywhere else.

First-Time Climber

This trip was more than just sightseeing, it pushed me. For the first time, I took on a bit of rock climbing at Cathedral Rock Trail, something I’d always admired from afar. And I loved it. The thrill of reaching a summit after scrambling up rock faces was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had.

Energy You Can Feel

One of Sedona’s most unique features is the vortex energy found along certain trails like Boynton Canyon, Cathedral Rock , Bell Rock, and Airport Mesa Trail. Whether or not you’re a believer in energy fields, it’s hard to deny the intense sense of calm, clarity, and inspiration in these spots.

Perfect Weather, Endless Trails

I couldn’t have asked for better weather, sunny but not too hot, breezy but not cold. Spring really is the ideal time to visit Sedona. And although I covered a lot of ground, there are still so many trails I didn’t get to (Boynton Canyon and Devil’s Bridge Trail are at the top of my list). A second trip is definitely in the works.

Quick Tips if You’re Visiting Sedona

Best time to go: Spring (March–May) or Fall (September–November)

  1. Airport: Sedona has an airport!

  2. Can’t-miss hikes: Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Boynton Canyon, Devil’s Bridge

  3. Packing tip: Layers are key. Desert weather changes quickly! Hiking boots!

  4. Bonus idea: Do a sunset hike. Sedona’s golden hour is magic.
